Start by switching to a default theme to see if the problem is specific to your theme.

And BTW, support for Disqus is actually on that plugin’s own sub-forum here:

This isn’t a Disqus issue. I’ve tried reverting to previous themes, that’s why I’m posting here.

Are you saying that comments (plain WP) don’t work? If that’s what you mean, try deactivating ALL plugins and switching to a default theme – that’s standard troubleshooting.
