Comments box not showing

Hello,

The theme I’m using has a “leave a comment” link at the top of each post. Only after hitting that link, the comments box opens in the footer. Now, I would like to have the comments box opened permanently, without having people to search for the “leave a comment” link on the page. Would that be possible?
