I am using magazine basic theme. I checked the appropriate boxes in discussion under settings yet I do not see the comments form at the end of my articles. Can someone tell me how to fix it? Thanks

  • This is definitely not a theme issue. There’s something wrong in your WordPress install or it’s an issue with your login cookie.

Thank you for your suggestion about login info. I should have known.
There is one more administrator for my site. I will ask her to login and ckeck for the issues you’ve mentioned. Once again, thanks for your help.

Finally, I found the problem. I posted aticles on home page which does not have comment box. All other pages do have comment pages.
    Thanks.

I was also posting about this issue in another thread. It may be that there’s something between this theme and certain host servers caching methods that causes this problem in some cases. My settings were fine all along. I’d cleaned my own cache, used multiple browsers of different kinds, etc, and it still didn’t work. I finally waited a full day and found the comments boxes appeared, as they would instantly with other themes.

rob212, I didn’t know about the browsers playing a part in this. You may be right. Now I see comments box even on the page new articles being posted for two days now. For previous articles, however, “comments closed” line appears at the end, and I could not change it.
It is not important for me, just thought I would mention it.
