Comments Box and footer not showing

  • I am using Simvance Theme. I have enabled comments under individual blog posts and it was working fine. Suddenly the comment box has stopped appearing properly.

    Now only the Name and Email box appears but the text area for the comment box does not appear nor does the submit button. Also the footer does not appear on individual post pages.

  • Things don’t generally happen suddenly without some trigger.

    Did you install a plugin? Modify a template file? Change your Theme?

    It sounds like there may be a /DIV out of place – either one too many or one missing…..if you installed a plugin, deactivate it to see if that makes a difference. If you modified a theme template file, check your code to be sure you didn’t forget a closing /div or put in one where it shouldn’t be.

    I installed some plugins but then I uninstalled them again and tried one by one same thing.

    I did some changes to .htaccess and functions.php for increasing pagespeed. But cant get the problem. I didn’t save the original functions.php
