Comments Box

  • Hi there. Can anyone tell me – in the simplest of terms – how to delete the Comments box which is on each page of my website? Thanks.

    For any new posts:
    Settings -> Discussion, un-tick ‘Allow people to post comments on new articles ‘.

    For existing posts:
    Posts -> (Select All) -> Bulk Actions -> Edit -> Comments -> Select ‘Do not allow’ -> Update

    HI, thanks for that. It’s not just the comments I want to delete, it’s the actual box itself which appears on each page. If you look at my website https://www.lovewords.biz you will see what I mean, there’s a big box on the bottom of each page. Any ideas?

    Follow the steps above, it will remove the box ??

    ?? I’ve done that, it’s still there. Do you think you could take a look and see what I mean? thank you!

    Then there must be a setting in the theme options, or it’s hardcoded into a template I guess.

    Also, I’m getting malware alerts for your site in both Google Chrome and Safari. I’m not sure you’ll get many visitors while that’s in place…
