comments are not visible

  • Comment appears when no comment left previously, but further comments don’t show for some reason. Not sure why the wp-cache file isn’t cleared. Anything in your PHP error logs?

    This problem seems to be connected with Spam Karma 2 – I’m having the same issue. I disabled it (SK2), and the problem went away – comments now refresh the cache and all is well. I am using Akismet now instead as an alternative spam solution, but it seems SK2 could be adapted couldn’t it?

    DavidRoberts – good catch! I suspect that SK2 and it’s ilk won’t work too well because some of them need a Javascript payload that updates on (every?) request. That’s a separate issue to your problem however.

    I’m surprised that SK2 stops the usual comment actions from happening!
