Comments are not showing up at all Twenty Fourteen

on my main page under each post, it says add comments. So I added a comment and it won’t show at all (either on the main page or in the post itself).

When I look at the comments for the site, it links back to the main page…but i doesn’t show anywhere….I really just want it to show with the post.

I don’t know what happened. But its my first time trying to add a comment with this theme.
