COMMENTS ARE CLOSED…no matter what i do!

  • I have seen so many posts with similar issue, but non of them are helpful.
    Comments in all our articles are closed.
    I did check Settings >>>Discussions >>> and selected the following:
    Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article
    Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)
    Allow people to post comments on new articles

    I also opened each post and selected Discussions and Comments in Screen Options.
    Nothing is working.

    Some people recommend to deactivate Plugins, change the theme….
    I did that too.

    Can anybody suggest something else? I would really appreciate your help!!!!!!!
