Comments are closed – Ouch!

    No matter what I do, I cannot get rid of the words, “Comments are closed” on every comment to a post. See: https://www.thenewamericanism.com I am using a free WordPress theme and Disqus plug-in. Disqus claims it is a WP problem. Viewers can comment using Disqus just fine. What’s going on here?

  • Sorry, I’m not seeing the text “Comments are closed”, can you give an exact URL you are seeing this?

    Hi – I changed the theme and that got rid of the problem. Apparently some themes are just noy working right!
