Comments are closed

  • Hi, I hope I am posting this to the correct place.
    For whatever reason, on my last two posts of my blog – https://BecomingFinanciallySavvy.com, appearing at the bottom of my post is the wording ‘comments are closed’. I actually use ‘Disqus’, and have double checked the settings on my Disqus account to ensure that everything is set up correctly, which it is.

    The problem seems to be that on the actually edit page of my post via the dashboard,the the two boxes one for ‘allow comments’ and ‘Allow trackbacks and pingbacks’ under the Discussion header is unticked. I have re-ticked these boxes on several occassions but they do not remained ticked. Please, how do I resovle this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
