Comments appearing on the wrong posts?

    Hi all,

    Hope you can help. As the title suggests, people are leaving me comments but they come through by e-mail and on the dashboard as if they are under a completely different posts.

    Has anyone got an idea what I can do here as it is quite frustrating.

    Hi Esmi,

    Thanks for the reply and sorry I didn’t realise.

    Here we go. The comments on this page https://www.surreybeekeeper.co.uk/?p=472 are actually sent through to the dashboard or onto my e-mail system as being associated to this page https://www.surreybeekeeper.co.uk/?p=444

    You can also see this by the comments cloud on the homepage. One has 4 comments (when it shouldn’t have) while the other has 0 when it should have 4.

    Does this make sense as it gets a little confusing.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Thanks Esmi, that seems to have worked, appreciated. (I deactivated all the plug ins and then started them up again…..)
