Comments and non-single (category) template

Hi,

For various reasons I need to use the category listing template to show (sort of) single posts. After using get_posts(), how can I set up the post to be able to use comments_template() – which normally only works on is_single() pages?

If it’s not possible to trick WP into believing I’m single, any pointers as to how I can, more manually, set up comments functionality here would be appreciated.
