Comments and login do not show

    I am trying to evaluate the theme and downloaded the free version. The issue I am having is that the login and comments do not show even I change all the general setting to do so.

    When editing one of the Pages in your dashboard, scroll to the top of the screen and click on the “Screen Options” tab in the top-right corner (screenshot). Next, check off the “Discussion” box and close the Screen Options tab.

    Scroll down below the editor and you should now see the Discussion box (screenshot). You can check off the “Allow comments.” box to now display comments on the page.

    This is exactly what I did when I tried it first time and sent you the message. It is working with other themes but not with Author.

    Okay thank you for trying that. This means the issue is coming from an active plugin on the site.

    It looks like there is a plugin being used to change the content or the layout of the content on the posts/pages. Can you try deactivating your plugins? The comments should then display. You can reactivate the plugins one-by-one until you find which one is responsible for removing the comments.
