Comments all sent to spam folder

  • Almost all of the comments on my blog are being sent to the Spam Folder. I use Akismet, but I disabled it and it still happened. I cleared the “blocked comments” list and it still happened. It happens whether a commenter is signed in or not. Right now only me and one other commenter avoids this affliction. Even my co-bloggers’ comments (but not their posts) get zapped.

  • Hi there, normally you only need to check the box, not spam, and akismet will learn from this, this post is quite useful.

    Thanks for answering, but I’ve been using Akismet for more than two years and all of my regular commenters are being sent to spam. Needless to say, I’ve been clicking the “not spam” box for the five days of this incident and nothing has changed. As I said, I deactivated Aksimet and the only thing that changed was that there was no spam folder from which to save the comments. But, thanks.

    Anyone else have a solution?
