Comments added automatically

Hi

I am just condifuring my permalinks (and not having a very good time doing it – the print and email links I have had to revert back to normal id) but the thing is that when I post an article (or any author) it automatically adds a comment to another post.

See here: https://debate.co.nz/ under “recent replies” is it that I need to change the recent replies link to a permalink? If so, I don’t know how to.
