  • Thank you for FIRST! New to WordPress I really appreciate the simplicity of design, yet the variety and clarity of customizations.

    Forgive me if my inquiry is basic. I’ve tried to find the answer on my own, but haven’t had any luck:

      How do I disable “Leave a Comment” on Summaries when using a Front Page that displays Latest Posts?
      On the subsequent dedicated post pages, how do I show “Leave a Comment” after the post?

    There’s a lot of information on how to disable comments on static pages, globally or on a post by post basis, but I can’t seem to figure out how to just disable comments when displaying a list of my latest posts as the main page.

    Maybe it’s a limitation of the theme, and it being free, something I’ll have to deal with? I’ve seen some info pointing to customizing the code, but am not too familiar with how to do that.
