• I have the latest version of Post Levels installed and am running WordPress version 1.5.1.1. Now my visitors can’t access my blog’s individual pages to comment. They used to be able to, when the site was running version 1.5. Is there a way to fix it? I tried downgrading, but that didn’t work very well.

    Any ideas what is wrong?

  • Did you check on the actual page to see if the comments box has been turned off? If not, check it. If checked, then we have a different issue.

Yes, it’s checked. My visitors can’t even access the pages to begin with. Only I can.

isn’t that the normal behavior for a ‘private’ post? shouldn’t you rather create a public, password protected post?

I have Post Levels installed. It’s supposed to display the pages for users of a specified level. Which it has been doing so until the upgrade.

Reverie: I’m having the same problem.

Actually, on the PostLevels plugin website this has been written:
Update 5/22: Sigh, as mentioned in the comments, single-post view is broken. This is due to an issue in WordPress that I unfortunately cannot change within a plugin. Ia€?ve filed a bug; in the meanwhile, I recommend staying on 1.5 until this (and other) issues (hopefully) get fixed in 1.5.1.1

… I’ve just installed 1.5.1.1 on a test blog and this is still a problem :-/
