Commenting on Pages

Have you looked way way at the bottom of your Edit Page and Checked the Box for “Allow Comments”?

Are you sure that your current theme allows for comments? Have you tried switching to the default theme?

How do I find out if my theme allows for these types of comments. I know that replies to my blog post can be made.

Try adding <?php comments_template();?> to the bottom of the Loop in your theme’s page.php template. Check that line in your single.php template file for the precise positioning.

I’m not sure what happened. Everything was working just fine, but now all of a sudden comments can’t be placed on my PAGES. They are accepted on my blog, but not on the pages. I have confirmed that the box for “accept comments” on each page is is check, and the above instructions worked at one point, but no longer successful. Please help!
