Commenting is not visible for WP.org post in the reader

  • Hi

    I just moved my blog from WP.com to WP.org with blue host. The new posts are visible in the WP reader but followers are not able to comment via reader.

    Is there any setting that I need to update?

  • Make sure that under Settings – Discussion Setting – Disable (Comment must be manually approved)

    Won’t it make spam comments also to come in? I do need moderation though.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    That option is only available for WordPress.com blogs so far. When in the WordPress.com Reader, you won’t be able to Like or Comment on a post from a self-hosted WordPress site.

    Jetpack may include that feature soon, but I don’t have an ETA for you yet.
