Commenting is breaking my blog

Hi there! Sorry that it is giving you trouble; I’m not sure why that would be causing the issue, but it is likely something in the theme. We need to narrow down where the issue could be happening in order to figure out why… Does the problem persist if you switch back to the twentyfifteen theme (then you can re-enable your main theme)? If it does, are you using a custom template for that page? The other thing you can try, if it isn’t a problem with the theme (i.e. the problem was still there when you checked the twentyfifteen theme), you can also disable your other plugins to see if that solves it; if it does, you can re-enable each plugin one at a time and check at which point the problem starts happening again, then we’ll know it is a conflict with that particular plugin.

Another first step option would be to re-activate Muut so I can look at the broken page “in action”. Or you could create a second “test” page with the same problem that isn’t public and show it to me (so your main blog page isn’t affected in the meantime).

Hi, thank you for advice. My theme is “Nimbus Simple”. I use child theme for that and I have customized some templates. However, I do not have problems with any other plugins than MUUT. I also try to disable all the other plugins one by one, but it does not seem to help. I have to disable Muut commenting now and customize the forum part first for my needs. I’ll get back to this later.

Alright, sounds like it’s definitely a conflict then between Muut and your theme. Can you send me an e-mail to paul [at] muut [dot] com so I can check in with you on a couple things (non-public)?
