Commenter not in list of subscribers

  • I am testing this plugin.
    I created a new user. I made a comment as a new user. The new user receives the thank you for first comment email.

    When I reply to the comment of the new user the new user never gets an email notification. Also the user is not listed under the Long List of Subscribers which I assume should list the user.

    FYI I have a WordPress Multisite

    I have the same problem (no email notification about a new comment, and there is nothing in the subscribers list…)
    The thank you for first comment email is ok.

    My website is not multisite.

    I use WordPress 5.1.1

    I hope someone can help me solve this problem.
