Comment text color by Gender

  • I did some searches but didnt find anything related to what i wanted:
    I would like to add an option on the comments where people could choose their gender (male or female) and according to that their comment text would be blue or pink respectivly. Doesn???′t seem hard but to someone who doesnt know its difficult! Can someone help me out?
    btw: it would be great if after checking a radio button “male” an image/icon of a man appeared on the comment info of the auhor!

    Wouldn’t it be much cooler, and less offensive to people who don’t conform to society’s ridiculously narrow and arbitrary restriction of gender to two poles, to allow commenters to choose their own colour from a whole range? BTW, are there custom fields for comments?

    you could just give them those 7 colours…
    or say some 5 colours..

    GAWD. Okay people, there are two normally occuring genders for Homo Sapiens in nature, get over it. And it has nothing to do with society; if you wanted to make a society argument you would have to reference gender roles, or lifestyle choices. Society doesn’t dictate genetics.
    You could pretty easily just use custom meta data for this. The function would be pretty trivial, especially if you stick to the aforementioned normally occuring genders for our species.

    Jesuit, forgive me. I was joking. What I really meant was that some ladies don’t like pink, and some men do.
    P.s. Gender is often used to mean a social and psychological construct (including sex, sexuality, self-image etc), as opposed to sex, which is purely biological.
    I’ll shut up now.

    now, serious, my intention was merely diferentiate male from female. as the color system caused some complaints, i?′ll use the icon one.
