Comment Screen IP Addresses

  • Hi,

    I have a weird problem that I’ve just noticed with my wordpress site. The IP addresses that are usually displayed under the names of people in the Comment section of the Dashboard have disappeared on my site.

    It seems they stopped appearing October 5th 2012. I can’t seem to find out what affected it to stop displaying the ip addresses. Nothing important happened around that time.

    I wanted to get it working again so I could ban some troll commenters who are making insulting comments.

    Does anyone know how I could get them displaying again? I can’t find anyone who has had this problem through searching on Google, so it seems really strange.

  • Can you replicate the issue with the default 2013 theme enabled and with all plugins disabled?

    The issue remains the same, theme change and plugin disable was the first thing I tried, since thats basically the go-to solution to see whats causing problems usually.
