Comment Reply Not Working

    I’m using Jetpack comments. Leaving a new comment works but when trying to reply to an existing comment nothing happens. Readers can press the reply button but nothing happens. It does not even update the reply field to say it is replying to the selected comment.

    Could you please check that you’ve got the ‘Enable threaded (nested) comments x levels deep’ option enabled in ‘Settings > Discussions’?

    I just checked. It’s already enabled and set to 5.

    Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I just want to confirm that it’s the Jetpack comment form which is causing this, can you please try disabling Jetpack comments by going to ‘Jetpack > Settings’ and switching off this option ‘Let readers use WordPress.com, Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ accounts to comment’

    Once you’ve done that, try testing the comments again and let me know how you go. I have seen issues since the latest release that affected the styling of comments, however this is the first report related to replies not working.
