Comment post error after databasemove

  • Hello,
    i had a testaccount from a domainhostservice after setting up my homepage i paid for a longer period and all my stuff got moved from one to another domain. Since then everything works fine except the comment post.

    After posting a comment i get this error message:

    Not Found

    The requested URL /Wordpress/wp-comments-post.php was not found on this server.

    I changed the WordPressUrl and the SiteUrl but it didnt help at all.

    What else is there to make it work ?

  • It would appear that not everything got moved, you are missing a root script (wp-comments-post.php) for some reason. You might want to start by going back to your hosts technical support and pointing out this issue, to see if they make good. You have the latest version of WordPress, did the upgrade happen before or after the move?
