Comment Plugger hack: link to comment?

Hi,
I’m using the Comment Plugger plugin to display the most recent author, but when the user clicks on the user’s name, I want it to jump to their comment, NOT link to their URL. Unfortunately this plugin is pretty limited in terms of parameters, so I’m assuming I have to go into the PHP. Has anyone does this and if so how? Or is there a plugin that does the same thing but would allow for this variation?
