Comment option only showing up when I search on page

  • I have decided to go with your theme through wordpress. After deciding what kind of sight I wanted to create, I decided to create one with minimal access to comments. I went through and deleted all ways for users to comment and installed a plug in to rid the ability to comment. I noticed that when you search a word that is on the sight, for example “contact”, a leave a comment option appears as well as a link stating when the page was last updated and by whom. I do not understand why this is showing up. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

    Hi @emarkley4696,

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’ve recently pushed an update to the theme that should hide comment links on posts where comments are disabled.

    You will just need to update the theme, and the links should no longer display.
