Comment on my site

I just tested a comment out on the first post of your site and it submitted successfully (or so it told me). It also tells me that the comment is awaiting moderation.

Please check your Comments panel in your Admin dashboard to see if it arrived there and report back?

Yep- it worked! I must have fiddled with whatever needed fixed. Thanks for checking on it!

I’m glad to see that it worked out for you.

It is entirely possible that maybe some of your visitors were having trouble with the submission process.

The comment form showed up just fine for me, but when I submitted, it did take a while for my comment to show up (and telling me that it is under moderation).

If the web hosting connection or some other network connection or loading time in general is slow, it is possible that the comment form might have ‘timed out’. In fact, I was thinking that maybe it was going to time out because the loading/submitting screen took quite a while to process.

You can try and see if you see the same issue (submitting the comment takes a little while) by trying to comment on your own posts (and deleting them if you don’t want them to show).
