Comment Numbering.. using global instead of post specific..

    I’m trying to number the comments on my blog..
    1.
    2.
    ect..

    what is happening

    1.
    7.
    14.

    it is using the global comment numbering..
    how do i make this:
    <php comment_ID() >
    work for specific posts.. instead of global..

  • The comment_id is, of course, global – they are not stored separately for every post.
    However, most decent themes put the comments in an ordered list, so they are numbered.
    (couldn’t take a look at your theme, the site is so slow that I gave up)
