• My client and other admins weren’t getting notifications for comments at https://www.s3cases.com. I installed the Configure SMTP plugin and set it up per BlueHost’s instructions, and sent the test email from that plugin’s Settings page, and it arrived immediately in my inbox.

I thought the problem was solved, but then submitted another comment and again, no admins ever receive an email.

I tried setting up a new user, no notifications about that either.

    Please help?

  • Have you spoken to Bluehost about this?

BlueHost says there’s no issue with their email system and WordPress and the normal WP mail functionality should be working fine. But it’s not.

Are the admins using email address within the site’s domain name?

Yes they are – maybe I should have them change that? It hasn’t been a problem before.

No – keep them “as is”. It’s just that some hosts reject mails that haven’t been sent from the domain. I wanted to check that this wasn’t the case here.
