Hi, I noticed that since I’ve installed the Sendinblue plugin the ‘new comment’ notification emails are also sent through SendinBlue. Can it be that the plugin would take on more than just the WooCommerce emails? I’m using Lightweight Subscribe To Comments

    Hello @nicknoordijk,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Yes, this is expected behaviour. When you select to send transactional mail via Sendinblue SMTP (either in our Newsletter Plug-in or WooCommerce add-on) it will deactivate other SMTP routes.

I installed the ‘Lightweight Subscribe To Comments’ and tested it with my account – it is working great via Sendinblue SMTP! I did not see an option to select a specific SMTP route in the settings of the plug-in.

Please reach out with anything else we can help with ??

I see. I’d love to have the default comment notification emails just go through the default WordPress email because it will decrease the number of emails I can send through Sendinblue because so many ‘comment notification emails’ are being sent.

Nick – Were you able to find a resolution for this? I’d hate to have all of our emails from the site go through the marketing platform.

@tootthecat No I’m basically waiting for a response from @sendinbluecustomercare

I only want the WooCommerce emails to go through SendinBlue and not every single email.

    Thanks @nicknoordijk

I’ll let you know if I hear anything about this. We’re not yet signed up and this is one thing I’m concerned about.

    Hello @tootthecat and @nicknoordijk,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Our Sendinblue SMTP will override other SMTP routes.

Please be advised that your Sendinblue transactional quota will not stay at 100 forever but can increase based on good engagement with your emails (high opening rates, high volume sending and minimal hard bounces). The good engagement of your other transactional emails will maintain the quota (even if your notifications remain unopened and unclicked, for example).

I hope this clarifies your concerns!

@alice888 I’m paying for my SendinBlue lite account but I don’t want to pay for basic WordPress comment notification emails to be sent through Sendinblue .. I think that’s understandable right?

Surely there’s a way to only catch the WooCommerce emails?
