    Hi,

I have an issue with wpDiscuz: the comment form doesn’t get submitted and an error message “please accept our privacy policy” shows up.

The problem is that I don’t have an input for the privacy policy. I’ve digged a bit deeper and it looks like the problem comes from the them used on this website: The7 (the message displayed is defined in the7 and when I switch to Twenty Twenty everything works fine).

I made sure the display WPDIscuz on homepage is checked and I’ve tried both WordPress and wpDiscuz AJAX, nothing change.

You can view the issue on this page: https://lp.studiodpe.dev/zoom-sur/activite_confine/codez-pour-faire-la-difference-gestesbarrieres/.

    Could you help?

    Thanks a lot,
    Regards,
    Etienne

    Hi @epipo,

There is some other plugin that caused the issue. To find a problem maker, please deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find a problem maker.

Please don’t forget to press Ctrl+F5 (twice) on the frontend each time before checking to reload updated JS/CSS files.

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer. Well as mentionned it appears that the problem comes from the theme the7 (I’ve disbaled all plugins and it’s still not working but if I switch theme it does work).

As it’s a pretty popular theme I was wondering if you encountered this problem before?

    Thanks for your help.

My bad, problem is solved I found the culprit piece of code in the clients functions.php file. It has nothing to do with the7…

    Thanks for your help!
