I just imported all my blog posts to my new blog, but I kept my old blog going. People left comments on there I wanted to import into my new blog. So I did the Import and Export, which worked fine for most comments, but one comment… instead of being connected to the correct post, it doesn’t show at all. In the Comments section of my dashboard it is displayed as “#0” where the Post name & link should be. I can’t seem to edit this. How can I put the comments on the correct posts?

  • If you have access to your database (e.g. via phpMyadmin) you can go to the wp_comments table and Browse. Then find the comment by its ID# and edit it. The second column is the comment_post_ID – type there the ID of the post where it should belong.

Backup your database before doing anything!
