Comment moderation approval

  • On my site, comments are automatically being published without going to the backend for approval. I’ve checked the in Settings->Discussion->Before a Comment Appears: Comment must be manually approved to make sure it’s checked, saved the settings, and still it is auto-publishing my test comments. I’ve checked the forums to see if I can find anything there regarding this and haven’t found anything. I’ve also made sure that WordPress is up-to-date as well as my plugins and themes.

    "my"? Are you the admin?

    If you are the admin, try commenting using a different email address.
