Comment Field

I would like each of the comments when submitted to be emailed to the admin person as well as the person incharge of the event.
Since I am using the event as a RSVP the group will sometimes insert a comment and I would like to have the comments show on the page the I have set that shows there name and how many are attending. The short code doesn’t seem to work on either instance.
Is there a work around that would allow me to insert that code to make it work?
