Comment Cookies?

  • I got lazy visitors screaming at me to enable cookies so that they don’t have to type thier names in on every visit.

    Since I am sooo clever, I put a slice of Java script in that asks them to fill in name and e-mail. And then Refocuses. That whole trip.

    But I’m not sooooo clever as to be able to figure out how to enable them to be remembered each visit.

    Father Luke, what you might want to do is dissect WP v1.5’s default theme. It already does what you’re asking for.

    Yeah, I know.

    I was hoping to keep the modifications I’ve made in 1.5 – – comment preview, phrasing, etc. and I’m lazy and want someone to do this for me.

    I’ll figure it out, macmanx. I was wondering if anyone else had been in this spot. Leave it to me to be a trail blazer when it comes to twisting something so tight it gets stuck.

    When I figure it out, I’ll put up the recipe here : )
