Comment box on page won't disapear

    For some reasons, the comment box on my “Submit Content” page in the menu won’t disapear… “Discussions” and “Comments” boxes in screen options tab while in edit view have been unchecked. I didn’t have that problem with the “about” and “contact” page. I tried to empty all caches even deleted the page and re-write it still won’t work.

    Hi,

    please try to follow these instructions. If this does not help, I recommend you to deactivate all your installed plugins (one after another) as there might be a plugin conflict.
    You also can hide the comments form using this custom CSS:

    .page-id-792 #comments {display: none;}
