• I’m using this theme on my blog (https://ohthebooks.com) and for some reason, now the comment box only appears if you are registered and signed in to the blog. I’m assuming this happened thanks to a recent update of WordPress. Can this please be fixed???

  • I have the same problem

Exact same problem for our website (tyandae.com).

Have temporarily disabled comments unless you are logged in to hide the issue. Now it shows ‘Leave a Comment’ and immediately beneath it tells you to log in to do this.

If comments are enabled without logging in, then it shows ‘Leave a Comment’ and NOTHING beneath, no textbox to enter the comment. Will be investigating further seeing if there is something I can change in the style sheet to fix this.

Additionally, when not logged in the post icons (showing if this is a Quote, Image, Aside, etc) display incorrectly, being far too small. (They are currently hidden by making them the same color as the background so this issue cannot be seen). Will also be investigating this and will post any solutions I find here.

NB: Website is using a custom child theme of Flounder, but the same problem exists when using the Flounder theme instead.
