Comment box not showing up on page

    I enabled comments in Discussion on pages, yet there’s nothing showing up, not even a “Comment is Closed”.

    I tried comparing the Beautiful Day by Arcsin theme I’m using with the Default to find differences in coding, but was unsuccessful.

  • on all pages or only pages like the About page? most themes don’t display comments on pages like About

    go in the single.php and page.php files. check for <?php comments_template(); ?>. see if it’s there.

    Silly me… how did I not notice that wasn’t on page.php? Thanks so much!

    Great, it worked, many thanks and regards. One suggestion kindly give step by step instructions for the novices and learners like me. Got theire after a lot of experiments, but thanks indeed, it was just a suggestion.
