• Hi all,

in a website I have found a comment box in every page, even if some of them are used as pages and not as blog posts.

I would like to know where to edit code to:
    – remove comment box from some specific page
    – insert a link in the text close comment box to add a privacy disclaimer

    Thanks to all

    Ciao
    Roberto

  • Edit each published Page or Post and uncheck “Allow comments” in each case. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.

Hi esmi and thank you for your reply.

I have just checked as you advised but pages have not any activated options about comments or discussions at Screen Options or other parts.

I think there’s some to do in the code. There’s only a page that has not that comments form.

Take also note that that comments form is in english, while the website is in another language. How could I to do change the form of the language in those pages I would like to leave it?

    Thanks and ciao

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

This is Blue Taste made by Jabox.

I’m sorry but as you are using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here.

Developer is no more maintaining this theme and I didn’t understand the reason why there are comment boxes in some pages. It could be depended from some reason not related to the theme.

This are the reason why I have asked here. Thanks the same and ciao!

It could be depended from some reason not related to the theme.

It will be very theme-specific, I’m afraid.
