  • I have the same problem with my client’s site. It started today and now every comment gets that same message.

I was able to solve the issue by unchecking the “Let visitors use a WordPress.com or Facebook account to comment” from Jetpack settings.

now it’s saying “The web page at data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==?replytocom=11859 might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.”

what’s with the constant issues with your comment box at the moment?

    Hi @unwantedlife,

I checked the comments function on your site and I was able to leave a comment. You can find it here (feel free to delete it). It seems to be working for me. Can you confirm it works for you, too?

    Hi @osterti,

Is the issue still persisting for you, too? Will you want to share a site URL so we can take a look? If you don’t want to make it public, you can use this contact form.

    Thank you both! ??

Are you going to fix the issue with your comment box or not?
