Comment Blacklist Blocking Blacklisted Terms But Still Sending Emails

  • Comment Blacklist is deleting comments with blacklisted keywords, but I’m still getting an emails each time one of these comments is received. It’s odd since I have two WordPress websites using the same theme; with Akismet activated; and with the same discussion settings. The “Email me whenever” option (in both sites) is set to “A comment is held for moderation.” I don’t get emails from the one site; I do from the other. The one I’m trying to fix, where I do get the emails, is https://katharine-online.com/editor. Can anyone suggest something I can do to stop receiving spam emails?
