Comment author

Hi,
I have been using the iNove theme for a while and it has been working well. However, I just installed a plugin (wp-facebookconnect) that needs to wrap the comment_author in some html (actually its a FBML tag (https://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/FBML) but that should be irrelevant). The problem is this html is converted to html entities somewhere along the way and the html ends up being printed as text. I have tried switching to the default theme and this made the problem disappear. This leads me to the conclusion that somewhere in iNove a filter is applied to the comment_author function, or something else in iNove “htmlentitizes” (with ent2ncr or something similar) the comment_author. I hope you know what I am talking about and can point me to where the problem is.
