    Hi.
I see a significant increase in comment spam lately. Previously, there were no spam comments at all, maybe 1 per month. In the last couple of weeks, I see more and more spam in comments and last few days it is at least one spam comment per day. I have comment form protection enabled and use reCAPTCHA v3 on the website.

When I check score distribution for the website on reCAPTCHA admin console, I see that most of the traffic is at 0.9, 20% is at 0.7 and a few requests at 0.3 and 0.1. Based on that I have changed the captcha score to 0.8 in the plugin config with no impact on the amount of spam comments though.

Any advice why is that happening? Can I store the captcha score somewhere in the comments so I can see how high was the score for each spam comment that came through the protection?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @bari007

Thank you very much for your message.

I am sorry for the late reply. Somehow we’ve missed this one.

I’m afraid you can’t store the store per comment. However, we can troubleshoot this issue. Can you please answer the below questions:

    1) Can you confirm that the CAPTCHA check is loading and is being triggered? You can check this from the web browser tools. Check that the Google reCAPTCHA script is being included.

    2) Can you try to change the CAPTCHA To V2 “I’m not a robot” check and advise if that makes a difference?

If you need help with any of the above please let us know.
