Hello! When I type anything with a comma after a letter, the comma shows up directly underneath the letter I typed instead of in it’s own block in front of the letter. I am using the theme “Go” by GoDaddy, and just updated the site’s language in General Settings to English (United States) which is when I believe this issue started. Nothing changes if I switch the languages back and forth. It happens on anything with a header block, but not with paragraph blocks, and does not matter if I make a new block, copy new text in, etc. Theme, wordpress, and all plugins are updated.

A workaround I’ve been using is just adding an extra letter and making it white to blend in with my background so that the comma appears to be in the correct spot, but it’s not a good permanent solution.

Here are examples of what this looks like:

Editing view of when I use my workaround
Workaround from the front end looks fine but not perfect

My plugins are Calculated Fields Form, CoBlocks, Coming Soon Page, Under Construction& Maintenance Mode by SeedProd, myStickymenuPro, UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restor, WooCommerce, WooCommerce Stripe Gateway, and Yoast SEO. Thank you for any direction you can offer that can help implement a fix.

  • what theme are you using?

The theme is “Go” by GoDaddy, and I am pretty sure the font for the headers is Heebo. I used the wordpress wizard to start the website so I didn’t select the font myself and I checked the element inspector on my browser to find the name.
Thanks for taking a look at this post!

Update: I tried deactivating CoBlocks (by GoDaddy), and that clears up the weird issue with the commas. However, I was using that plugin to format quite a bit of the rest of my site so I’m hoping I can keep it…maybe I’ll just need to find a new plugin to format?
Any idea of what I could change so that I could keep CoBlocks, or ideas on how to format/what to do in place of CoBlocks?
Edit: I have posted my issue to the Support area for the Plugin: Page Builder Gutenberg Blocks – CoBlocks.

Same problem here with a different environment. I’m using Elementor-pro with Hello theme and me too the problem seems appeared when i switched my language on the site.

@tigermadison Maybe try deactivating Elementor-pro (check to see if problem resolves) then reactivate! That’s what worked for me with CoBlocks.
