Coming soon plugin not working in sub folder

    Hi I have an old active wordpress website in the root of my domain and I am building the new website in a subfolder /admin/. Once the new website is built I will remove the old wordpress installation in the root and move the new website into the root. I’m doing it this way as my client is contributing to the new website while I am still building it. The coming soon plugin on the new website in the sub folder doesn’t work at all. I have activated the plugin and made sure that “Enable Coming Soon Mode” is checked and saved and obviously I am ensuring I’m not logged in either, however it doesn’t work even after clearing the browser cache and trying in various browsers on various devices. I’m assuming it is because I have the website in a sub folder / sub directory, any help please?
