Hi, I have installed and set up the plugin in the correct manner but the coming soon page is showing up blank. Do you know what causes this? I have no caching enabled yet and the coming soon page is my only plugin on the website so far. I’m using the divi theme. Only thing I can think of is that I do not have SSL enabled yet. Thanks for checking and your help. Regards, Marmop

    Hello,

We would like to know if the site is working when the Coming Soon plugin is not enabled?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Can you try to use another theme and see if it works?

Sure I could but I’m using Divi and have used the combination of your plugin and Divi for multiple sites without a problem. So I don’t think it will help….

Got it, you have mentioned that you only have the Coming Soon plugin installed, correct?

When we check dev tools it does not show anything. Do you have access to the error_log? The error_log might show the cause of the site getting a white page.

Where can I check the error log? Alternatively I can give you a login to my website if that helps?

    Hello,

You can enable the debug mode via wp-config.php, you can check this article https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-set-up-wordpress-error-logs-in-wp-config/

Or contact your hosting company and ask assistance with the error_log.

Unfortunately, we only provide limited support for the plugin free version.

    Hi Franz,

Forst off: thanks for sticking with me. I have enabled the error-log in wp config and visited the page (white page) several times but no error log is created so i can’t send you the error log… Not sure what I can do next?

    Kind regards

    Hello,

You can contact your current hosting provider and check with them if they can see a specific error in the backend that causes the site to throw a white page.

We just need to check if it shows a specific line/file so we can further investigate.

    Thanks.

Ok I will do that. Just to let you know: when I install another coming soon page plugin it works fine. I always use yorus and never had this before…

    Hello,

Possible the theme that you are currently using is having conflicts or PHP settings/version. You can try to compare it with the other site that you have set up using the Coming Soon plugin.

    Hope the above helps.

strangely enough that can’t be the case because I alwys use Divi ( as I did on this website). For now I have used another plugin but thouthg you might wanted to know since I always use yorus and never had trouble. Thanks for all your effort!

    Hello,

There is no major update done with the Free version and I have checked dev tools but no error shows up.

What we can do is to check with your current host if the server logs show errors on the site, compare the setup done on the other site that uses the Coming Soon plugin or we can try to set it up using the default theme so we can determine if there are any conflicts.

    Thanks,
