Comic Press 2.9.4 comic images don't appear in RSS

I’ve tried searching for a similar problem, and have come up with nothing. Apologies if this something that has come up before. Here’s my issue:

Running the most current WP (though this problem has persisted for quite a while now, through various updates). The theme I am running is ComicPress 2.9.4.

My RSS feed SHOULD always show the comic posts with the comic image, but it’s not always the showing the image of the comic. Sometimes the images appear, sometimes not. It’s very inconsistent, and I cannot find a common thread between the posts that are not displaying images.

This issue is in my RSS feed ONLY. My site works fine. Just the RSS is having issues.
