Comic Easel/Comic Press

So I’ve set up Comic Easel and Comic press on a fresh WP install. I’ve looked everywhere reasonable and can’t get rid of this odd menu above the comic.
I have comics disabled on the homepage.
And no, this bit of content is NO WHERE in my widget options. How do I get it to go away?
