• I’ve been asked to investigate an interesting proposal;

    Have a number of different people work on several pages/posts independently, but have one page to combine all these pages into one, complete longstory post, externally presented as if it was its own page/post.
    This would mean that a visitor goes to Story #1, which in practicality is a presentation of e.g. 5 separate pages.

    What is being asked for is a way to be able to have several teams work with their own chapters in the backend, but still have a full story presentation for the visitors in the frontend.

    I’m open to suggestions as well.

    Three of the challenges that were brought up:

    1: If the teams have to cut and paste the content between a chapter into the complete story page, there is a lot of double work and risk of mistakes.
    2: If there is one person working as the editor that does the cutting and pasting, there is a higher risk of getting outdated material when a chapter is deemed to be published.
    3: If only one page is used that all the teams share, there is a high risk of material getting overwritten and out-of-sync.

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards
